This spring a super hit was breaking all the international charts. Who was to blame? A 22 years old Italian and his song "Perdono" (Forgiveness), launched with a <monstrous> success on Italian lands from the summer of 2001. But what really surprised about Tiziano Ferro was not his <<early>> age and not his efforts of being famous with his Italian music, but his lucidity and naturalness whit which he expresses his ideas through music and his ability of composing in a totally new musical stile for Italy - who was till not long ago < in a fight> with the R&B and the soul…

His music is a mixture of rhythms and American bars with faithfully traditionally Italian words, which makes it a totally new product for Italy - which was thought till not long ago "incompatible" with the soul and R&B sound from over the Ocean.
We are talking about Tiziano Ferro, 22 years old- considered in his home Leonardo Di Caprio of his natal country Italy- who has got his success thanks to his hit "Perdono"(Xdono in Italian, "x" in Italian is read "per").
Tiziano makes his own music and lyrics, influenced by << black music>> which he discovered in his childhood singing in a gospel choir. Following this influences Tiziano has created a totally new sound for Italy, the fruit of the rhythm and of the different cultures that manage to combine and create a perfect sound that Tiziano likes to call <<E-music - the music of the new generation which lives in the time of the internet, a natural evolution of changing times>>.
Despite the clear thinking that we might expect from the "boy" who enjoys living the era of the "computer", this super-boy is very cute and sensitive and in reality he composed "Perdono" in a very romantic way: a few days before the Christmas of 2000 on a bench from a park in Latina, Tiziano's natal town.
Back then Tiziano just signed what he calls << the deal of the millennium>>, by signing the contract with the well known record house EMI.
Tiziano: "My musical adventure started at the Academia di Sanremo (the only Italian organization that can send young talents at the Sanremo festival without being registered at a record house) at witch I participated 2 years in a row - 97 and 98. At my second try I got into the first 12 finalists and I was noticed by my current producer, Alberto Salerno. After 2 years of sacrifices and doors slapped in our face - because no record house was interested in the stile that Tiziano proposed- I finally got to impress the people at EMI. And here I am!"
So speaking, in the summer of 2001, Tiziano was putting Italy on heat - who was already suffering from one of the biggest drought in its history! The maxi single "Perdono" was released just then, and all the radio stations were already hysterically playing his song so he created an army of fans. The album Rosso Realtivo was up next, launched in October 2001, witch despite the famous "perdono" contains hits like "L'olimpiade" and "Imbranato"- songs well known internationally, but witch got an enormous success in Italy.
Now tiziano's life isn't the same as it was when he was composing his songs in a little studio improvised in his own room at home.
The ones who consider Tiziano a <<juke-box>> are the adults - witch stop him on the street and ask him to sing 2 or 3 stanza of "Perdono" for their daughters.
Sometimes, patient, Tiziano enters this game sometimes not.
"In this fairytale of mine - although nothing has come on its own because it has all been worked till exhaustion - everything happened very very fast. For almost 2 years things didn't move, not even a bit; I can't still believe I did it!". Despite his 22 years, his contract with EMI, and the 400.000 records he has sold, the fact that he is one of the few Italian artists witch has managed to launch themselves outside Italy, this cute boy from Italy amazes us especially through his candor with which he expresses his thoughts through music.
Tiziano: "The love that is spoken about in <<Rosso Relativo>> it's spontaneous - short, but intense, like a burning fire destined to be put out slowly … but it's still a fire! So I named it <<Rosso Relativo>> (Relatively Red) - relatively to the situation, relatively to a person's feelings, relatively to those who listen to the album!".
Now Tiziano is thinking of a new album, about which he says it will be made with more calm feeling and it will reflect the safety and his maturity gained in all this time… but will the title of the new album contain a color? "It won't be red, but it will be a color that would inspire one of the songs"
